I lead, designed, and executed on multiple cross-organization projects. I provided deeper knowledge surrounding our AWS infrastructure, and helped make high-level technical decisions across the team.

• Certified the Client-Side Protection service for PCI DSS v4.0
• Migrated over 200 Cassandra tables across multiple regions with zero downtime
• Re-designed core algorithms and re-architected key components of the system to improve the efficacy of our service

Amazon/AWS

Jul 2020 - May 2023

I was on the Amazon Cognito team building and maintaining core services for authentication and authorization, handling scale of billions of requests per day globally.

Prior to Amazon Cognito I was on the Tax Services team, building testing tools for internal business users.

• Designed and launched the IP Address propagation feature for unauthenticated requests to improve risk evaluation
• Automated region launch process for a microservice to save 50% developer time using CDK and helped launch Amazon Cognito in the Milan region
• Designed and implemented the algorithm to detect User Enumeration bot activity
